Autocar India, for the second time will take part in the only multi-market award recognising the best production car in all of Asia. The event is organised by the Haymarket Group, publishers of Autocar India, and all the other Autocar local-market licensees across the region. The contenders for the award are the Audi Q3, BMW 3-series, Lexus GS, Porsche 911, Range Rover Evoque and the Toyota 86.

The winner will be announced in April this year and the trophy for the Autocar Asian Car of the Year 2013 will be presented to the awardee at the Auto Shanghai Motor Show in April.
