Future Jeep models to get a styling overhaul

Fiat-owned Jeep SUV brand will update styling on all its products over the next three years.  The update, according to Jeep, will give its models a broader appeal. Speaking to our sister-magazine Autocar UK at the Detroit motor show 2015, CEO Mike Manley revealed plans for the brand to be “more flexible”. He also highlighted that the brand had successfully tested different looks in the past.

Manley added that the Wrangler’s design is non-negotiable and its design is not to be tampered with, but apart from that, the brand’s styling can be more flexible. The Jeep Cherokee had a very fluid look two generations ago and had broad appeal. Jeep's execution with interior quality has put the brand on par with other premium rivals.

Jeep is also readying a Range Rover rival in the form of an all-new Jeep Grand Wagoneer that is expected to debut internationally in 2018.
