Volkswagen has updated its Polo and Vento line-up for model year 2016 with both cars getting new additions to its feature list. The prices for the new models now start at Rs 5.33 lakh for the Polo and Rs 7.89 lakh for the Vento. (All prices ex-showroom, Delhi)
While the styling and mechanicals of both cars remain unchanged from the previous model year, it gets the inclusion of rain-sensing wipers, a touchscreen infotainment system with MirrorLink connectivity, auto-dimming rear view mirror and a phone book/SMS viewer. The above mentioned additions will vary depending on the trim level.
VW says that it has made these updates to improve the owner’s in-car experience.
This is the second update for the Polo in the last six months, with the manufacturer having added features like electric-folding ORVMs, a cooled glovebox and cruise control to the model in September last year. The Vento on the other hand received a more noticeable overhaul last year when the company introduced the facelifted model.
The updated Polo and Vento will be part of VW’s Auto Expo display that includes the Polo GTI hot hatchback, the new Tiguan SUV and the all-new Ameo compact sedan.
