QX80 Monograph concept previews future Infiniti SUV

Infiniti has revealed the QX80 Motograph design study at Hong Kong, offering a glimpse at the company’s future large SUV model which will rival the Range Rover. The new model will focus on the US and Chinese markets.

The design focus for the QX80 Monograph concept was to maximise luxury and cabin space. Its body, therefore, takes the shape of a conventional SUV with muscular styling.

Infiniti's designers have applied a new language to the exterior, with a double-arch grille – something seen on the marque’s other models. The car also previews the type of look Infiniti’s wider range will inherit.

Roland Krueger, president of Infiniti, said, “The QX80 Monograph represents a design study into our expertise or exterior design. It shows our concept of luxury and style on the road, and is an exploration into how we could enhance our future Infiniti offering in the luxury SUV segment."

The QX80 Monograph concept is set to make its public debut at the New York motor show.
