Maserati has revealed the facelifted GranTurismo in New York ahead of the model going on sale internationally early next year.
The updated sports car from the Italian automaker features revised styling up front, with a redesigned hexagonal grille and new, more-conventional air ducts on the front bumper. Maserati says that the front fascia is inspired from the Alfieri concept.
The interior is refurbished with revised switchgear and a new central console. The facelifted car now offers a large 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. The audio system has also been upgraded to a Harman Kardon premium stereo.
Like its predecessor, the car is powered by a Ferrari-sourced, naturally-aspirated, 4.7-liter V8 paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. The unit continues to develop 460hp and 520Nm of torque, with power sent to the rear wheels.
The updated version will be available in two trim options – the entry level 'Sport' and a more track-focused Maserati Corse (MC). The Sport and MC variants can accelerate 0-100kph in 4.8sec and 4.7sec respectively. While the former has a top speed of 299kph, the latter is tipped to reach 301kph.
The GranTurismo is currently on sale in India, so we could expect the facelift to arrive on our shores sometime next year.
