Yamaha is all set to introduce the 2023 FZ-X in India and the latest spy shots reveal that the bike will receive small yet significant updates.

    Yamaha FZ-X: details

Starting with the design, there seems to be subtle changes. There is a new, neat-looking windscreen above the circular headlight.  Around the headlight, you’ll notice what appears to be a tubular steel frame, the kind you see on the Royal Enfield Himalayan. Another big change on the front end is the high-mount fender, a la the Xpulse 200, which, as you can see, is body coloured as well. Speaking of, the orange colour on the test mule appears to be a new shade and we can expect Yamaha to introduce a new set of shades on the 2023 FZ-X.

The spy shots also reveal new gold-coloured alloy wheels that contrast with the orange bodywork. We’ve seen Yamaha offer similar gold-coloured rims on the FZS 25 and it’ll be interesting to see what the bike looks like in person.

Lastly, the FZ-X will feature dual-channel ABS, a very welcome addition given the slippery and unpredictable nature of our roads.

Mechanically, we don’t expect to see any changes to the bike. The Yamaha FZ-X is powered by a 149cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that makes 12.4hp at 7,250rpm and 13.3Nm at 5,500rpm.

The bike is expected to be launched in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for more information on the 2023 Yamaha FZ-X..
