Triumph has revealed its updated Bonneville T120 and T120 Black for 2021.
Features cruise control as standard
Aluminium wheels have reduced the weight by 7kg
The British manufacturer recently updated its entire Bonneville range for 2021 including the top-spec T120 model. Like the previous-gen bike, it’s available in two variants, T120 and T120 Black, and the differences between them are only cosmetic.
Like the other Triumphs, this Bonneville also features an updated 1,200cc twin-cylinder that’s now Euro 5 (BS6) compliant. It is said to be more responsive this time around and puts out 80hp and 105Nm. While the power figure hasn’t changed, torque has increased by 1Nm. The T120 continues to get two riding modes, but this time it gets cruise control as standard.
For 2021, the T120 benefits from all-new aluminium wheel rims that have helped reduce the motorcycle’s weight by 7kg. The bike also gets a higher-specification Brembo brake at the front that is said to give it better stopping power and feel. It also now uses the company's latest-generation ABS.
The T120 is available in three stylish colour schemes, including a Jet Black single-colour option, or a choice of two twin-colour schemes – Cordovan Red and Silver Ice, and Cobalt Blue and Silver Ice – both of which feature hand-painted gold lining. For the T120 Black, there is a choice of Jet Black or a Matt Jet Black and Matt Graphite scheme, with hand-painted silver coach lining.
