The Nexus gets a 3kWh LFP battery and the company claims a certified range of 136km. Power comes from a mid-mounted motor that produces a peak of 4kWh; the company claims a top speed of 93kph. Claimed charging time is 3.3hrs and Ampere even has a fast charging option available which drops charging time further, although we don’t have prices for that yet.

The Nexus can be had in two variants - EX and ST. The former comes with a 6.2 inch LCD display, while the latter comes with a 7 inch touchscreen TFT dash. The scooter comes with three riding modes and has reverse as well as a hill-hold function.

While deliveries have only begun in Bengaluru currently, phased delivery of Nexus scooters will continue throughout June, ensuring ‘prompt delivery to all booked customers’, claims the company.

K Vijaya Kumar, Executive Director and CEO of Greaves Electric Mobility Private Limited, said, "Celebrating our 16th anniversary with the commencement of Ampere Nexus deliveries marks a significant milestone in our commitment to sustainable transportation.
