Less than 6 months after its launch, Bajaj has reduced prices of its groundbreaking Freedom CNG bike by up to Rs 10,000. The Freedom’s base drum variant and mid-spec drum LED variant are now more affordable by Rs 5,000 and Rs 10,000, respectively.
- Top variant still priced at Rs 1.10 lakh
- Freedom can run on both CNG as well as petrol
Bajaj Freedom price reduced in India
With this price cut, prices for the Bajaj Freedom now start at Rs 89,997 for the base drum variant. The mid-spec drum variant has seen an even bigger price reduction, and now costs Rs 95,002. However, the top disc LED variant of the Freedom 125 is still priced at its original ask of Rs 1.10 lakh.
The Freedom is a ground-up new product from Bajaj, which debuted the new 125cc ‘sloper’ engine, trellis-frame and the capability to switch between CNG and petrol while on the move. The Freedom’s USP is its ability to halve your running costs (in comparison to a similar petrol bike) as we discovered during our extensive mileage tests.
