Alongside its petrol motorcycles, Hero has launched the Xoom 160 maxi-scooter at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The Xoom 160 is available in just one variant and is priced almost on par with its chief rival, the Yamaha Aerox 155.
- Gets a liquid-cooled, 156cc engine
- All LED lighting, ADV-esque styling
- Uses a 240mm front disc brake
The Xoom 160 debuts a new liquid-cooled, 156cc, single-cylinder engine, which produces 14hp and 13.7Nm. The Xoom 160 has features like keyless ignition, a fully digital dash, remote seat opening and split-LED headlights. It weighs 141 kg, a significant 15 kilos heavier than the Aerox 155. Just like the Aerox, the Xoom 160 also runs on 14-inch wheels at both ends.
With a Rs 1.49 lakh price, the Hero Xoom 160 will rival the Yamaha Aerox 155 and Aprilia SXR 160 in our market. Earlier, the Aerox 155 was the only scooter in India to offer a liquid-cooled engine. The bookings for the Hero Xoom 160 will begin in February, and deliveries will commence by March.
