Kawasaki has taken to social media to announce that it will increase the prices of its motorcycle in India from January 1. This leaves buyers with around a week to get the bikes at current prices.
Ninja 300 to cost Rs 6,000 more
ZX-10R to get dearer by Rs 23,000
Bikes available at old prices till January 1
The latest price hike comes only a few months after Kawasaki raised the prices of most of its models from August 1. Every offering from Kawasaki’s road-legal range, other than the Ninja 300, Z H2 and Z H2 SE, witnessed a price hike.
The upcoming price hike, meanwhile, includes every bike from Kawasaki’s road-legal range other than the Z650, Vulcan 650, Z H2 and Z H2 SE. The ex-showroom price for Kawasaki’s most affordable model in India, the Ninja 300, is set to increase by Rs 6,000, taking it to Rs 3.24 lakh. The price for the company’s litre-class supersport, on the other hand, is set to go up by Rs 23,000.
India Kawasaki Motors shares a list of new prices which are effective from 1st January 2022.

While the reason for the price hike hasn’t been revealed, it's likely due to an increase in raw material costs. Kawasaki has also said, “If customers booked the motorcycle on or before December 31, and take delivery within 45 days from the date of booking, then the ex-showroom price as on December 31 will be applicable.”
