The rest of the bike remains mechanically unchanged from before, which means it is powered by the same liquid-cooled, 249c, single-cylinder mill making 31hp at 9,250rpm and 25Nm of torque at 7,250rpm. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and gets a slipper clutch and bidirectional quickshifter.

You can have the 250 Duke in three colours – Dark Galvano, Electronic Orange and Atlantic Blue. At its revised Rs 2.25 lakh price tag, the KTM 250 Duke costs just Rs 8,000 more than its Husqvarna counterpart – the Vitpilen 250, while promising more equipment.
