Update: The KTM website initially listed the price as Rs 2.41 lakh however this has been changed to Rs 2.45 lakh via the company's press release which is why we have updated this article as well.

KTM recently updated its 200 Duke with the TFT display from the 390 Duke. This left the new-gen 250 Duke in an awkward place, as it cost more than the 200 but still has a black and white LCD. However, KTM has now fixed this.

    1. Gets the same TFT display as 390 Duke
    2. Also gets the 390’s signature LED DRLs

    KTM 250 Duke launch details

The 250 Duke now runs the same TFT display as the 390 Duke. This display comes with the new-age graphics seen on the 390, and it also has Bluetooth connectivity – although this was available earlier as well. There are two display modes for the TFT - street and track - just like on the bigger 390.

Another update is the fresh switchgear from the 390, with a four-way menu switch to go with the new dash. Things haven’t changed in terms of rider assists, and the bike continues with switchable ABS and a bi-directional quickshifter as standard.

KTM has updated the visuals of the 250 Duke by adding the headlamp surround DRL from the 390 Duke. However, the 250 continues with its sleeker side panels around the fuel tank, while the bigger panels remain exclusive to the 390.

Mechanically, there are no changes; the bike continues with its 250cc liquid-cooled, SOHC engine that makes 31hp and 25Nm. The 250 Duke uses the same new-gen trellis frame and cast aluminium subframe that debuted in the latest 390. It comes with a 15-litre fuel tank and weighs 163kg.

The good news is that, despite these updates, the price has only gone up by a couple of thousand rupees. The 250 Duke now costs Rs 2.41 lakh, ex-showroom India.
