Midsize motorcycle market leader Royal Enfield has registered total wholesales of 2,04,686 motorcycles in the first three months of FY2025. This is down 1 percent from its year-ago dispatches to showrooms, but the company has registered stellar growth in the 500-800cc market in India.
Royal Enfield’s four 650cc models powered by the same 648cc engine – Continental GT 650, Interceptor 650, Super Meteor 650 and Shotgun 650 – continue to see strong demand and have helped prevent a higher decline in its sales.
The company has several models based on this platform in the pipeline, and the next two waiting in the wings are the Classic 650 and the Interceptor Bear 650.
