    TVS expands operations to Italy

    TVS has launched its operations in Italy and plans to introduce select models to expand its global presence. TVS currently has a presence in 80 countries and intends to expand further.

    TVS will be expanding its operations in Italy via its branch office, TVS Motor Italia, which will be headed by Giovanni Notarbartolo di Furnari. Furnari has extensive experience in automotive companies in the UAE, Latin America, Europe and Italy. TVS plans to sell models such as the Apache RR 310, Apache RTR 310, Raider, NTorq, and the Jupiter 125. These models will be accompanied by TVS’ electric scooters; the iQube and the X along with other e-bikes made for urban and outdoor terrains.

    Sharad Mohan Mishra, president, Head Group Strategy, at TVS Motor Company, remarked on the company’s Italian launch and said, “We are eager to introduce Italian consumers to our vehicles, backed by our strong track record of having over four million global customers last year.”
