Triumph has updated its popular Speed 400 for the 2025 model year, giving it some additional features and new colours. This updated Speed 400 is now priced at Rs 2.40 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), making it around Rs 6,000 more expensive than before.
- Gets new Vredestein tyres
- Adjustable levers as standard
- Four new colour options
The most significant change here are the tyres – the Speed 400 now comes with Vredestein tyres that feature thicker sidewalls than before. They measure 110/80 R17 and 150/70 R17 as opposed to the earlier 110/70 R17 and 150/60 R17. This has resulted in a slight increase to seat height and ground clearance, while also giving the bike a slightly taller stance.
Adding to this is the revised seat which gets 10mm more foam padding than before. However, Triumph says it has reprofiled the seat to try and ensure similar ground reach despite the extra padding. On the convenience front, the Speed now gets adjustable hand levers as standard.
Finally, there are four new colour options for the Speed 400, some of which feature a blacked-out finish on the exhaust system that was not offered earlier. Alongside the update to the Speed 400, Triumph also launched a more affordable entry-level motorcycle based on the Speed 400. It’s called the Speed T4, costs Rs 2.17 lakh, and you can read all about it here.
