Audi has opened bookings for the Q5 facelift for a payment of Rs 2 lakh. Prospective buyers can book the new Q5 online, either on Audi’s website or via its dealer network. The carmaker is slated to launch the Q5 facelift in our market in November and cars have already started reaching dealerships.

2021 Audi Q5 facelift: What’s new?
The Audi Q5 SUV's facelift was revealed abroad in 2020 and it brought with it refreshed styling inside and out. On the exterior, the India-spec Q5 will come with a larger, more imposing grille, with vertical chrome slats, new LED headlamps and tail-lamps, reprofiled bumpers and new ‘S-design’ 19-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, the cabin gets some minor tweaks and comes packed with tech. Audi will offer the Q5 facelift in two trims – Premium Plus and Technology. The top-spec Technology trim will come kitted with Audi’s new MIB 3 infotainment platform with a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen and connected car tech. Additionally, it will also feature piano black inserts, Virtual Cockpit Plus (digital instrument cluster), wireless charger, a B&O Premium 3D Sound System and Audi’s Park assist. On the safety front, the new Q5 will come with eight airbags, including rear-side airbags, ABS with EBD and traction control.
2021 Audi Q5 facelift: engine and gearbox
Under the hood, the new Q5 gets the same 2.0-litre, turbo-petrol engine paired to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic as in the A6 currently on sale. However, it produces 249hp and 370Nm in the Q5. The Q5 facelift will also get Quattro all-wheel drive as well as Audi’s drive select and suspension with damping control. While the previous model was offered with a diesel engine too, the new Q5 will go down the petrol-only route, in line with its other offerings in India.
Audi Q5 facelift: competition check
Upon its re-introduction to our market, the Audi Q5 facelift will take on the likes of the Mercedes-Benz GLC, Land Rover Discovery Sport, BMW X3 and Volvo XC60.
