Discounts of over Rs 1 lakh on Volkswagen Virtus, Taigun, Tiguan in June

    Volkswagen dealers are offering attractive discounts of up to Rs 1.40 lakh on the Taigun and up to Rs 1.20 lakh on the Virtus. These discounts are applicable on the 2022 and 2023 model years of the midsize SUV and sedan as well as on the BS6 Phase 2-compliant models.

    3. 2023 Tiguan doesn't get discount on BS6 Phase 2 models

    The Tiguan also gets discounts of up to Rs 30,000, but unlike the other two, it's only available on the 2023 non BS6 Phase 2-compliant models.

    Sources tell us that buyers can ask for more discounts while finalising the purchase, and since the offers may vary from dealer to dealer, it is advisable to check with your respective dealer.

    Volkswagen Taigun discounts

    For the 2022 model year Taigun, discounts range between Rs 65,000-1.40 lakh, depending on the variant. The highest discount is available on the Taigun Topline manual variant, while the Comfortline manual variant gets the lowest discount.

    Meanwhile, the 2023 model year Taigun has a discount of up to Rs 85,000, with the highest discount available on the Topline manual and automatic variants. Furthermore, for the BS6 Phase 2-compliant models, Volkswagen is offering discounts of up to Rs 65,000.

    Volkswagen Virtus discounts

    The highest discount on the 2022 model year Virtus is Rs 1.20 lakh and it is available on the Comfortline manual and Highline manual variants. On the other hand, the lowest discount on the Virtus – Rs 20,000 – can be had on the GT Plus automatic variant. 

    The 2023 model year Virtus, on the other hand, gets discounts up to Rs 85,000 on three variants – Comforline manual, Topline manual and Topline automatic. Volkswagen is offering discounts of up to Rs 55,000 on the BS6 Phase-2 compliant models.

    New Taigun, Virtus variants

    Volkswagen launched the Virtus GT Plus trim with a six-speed manual gearbox option for Rs 16.89 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Alongside, the German carmaker has also launched two new variants for the Taigun – GT automatic and GT Plus manual – priced at Rs 16.89 lakh and Rs 17.79 lakh, respectively.
