The Honda Amaze will continue to be sold with introductory pricing until January 31, 2025, according to Honda India. Prices for the new Amaze, which went on sale on December 4, 2024, start at Rs 8 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

    • The Honda Amaze gets an 8-inch touchscreen, camera-based ADAS
    • The CNG fitment is available at the dealer level with a full warranty
    • It rivals the Dzire, Xcent and Tigor in India

Honda Amaze top model priced at Rs 10.90 lakh

The third-generation Honda Amaze continues with the familiar 1.2-litre petrol engine and offers two gearbox options. Its exterior styling is all-new, and on the inside, it now shares a lot of equipment with the Elevate SUV and City sedan. It does get a decent range of features and creature comforts and also comes with camera-based ADAS tech, which is not available on any of its rivals. Speaking of competition, the Amaze takes on the segment stalwart Marut Dzire, which also got a full model change in November last year. The Amaze also takes on the Hyundai Aura and Tata Tigor in our market.

Here's a look at Honda Amaze prices as of January 21, 2025:

    Honda Amaze price (ex-showroom)
    Petrol-MTPetrol-CVT
    VRs 8.00 lakhRs 9.20 lakh
    VXRs 9.10 lakhRs 10.00 lakh
    ZXRs 9.70 lakhRs 10.90 lakh

While the new Amaze is just under two months old, a quick check with dealers reveals that sales of the new sedan have been slightly lower than expected, thanks to a higher number of private buyers preferring compact SUVs over sedans, as the majority of the compact sedan market is now catered to fleet operations. However, dealers are optimistic that sales of the new Amaze will pick up in the coming months once MY2025-manufactured units hit showrooms, as most buyers do not prefer buying a newly introduced car towards the end of the year due to depreciation concerns.

Amaze CNG available via dealer fitment

While the Dzire, Tigor, and Aura offer factory-fitted CNG options, Honda, on the other hand, relies on dealer-installed CNG kits for the latest and previous-gen Amaze models. These retrofits, done through Honda dealers, provide a full factory warranty on the car by the brand.
