Honda Amaze engine specs, mileage
Under the hood, the new Amaze uses the familiar 1.2-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine paired with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT with paddle shifters. The engine makes 90hp and 110Nm of torque. Honda claims a fuel efficiency of 18.65kpl for the manual gearbox, while the CVT automatic returns 19.46kpl.
Honda Amaze rivals
The new Honda Amaze continues to compete against the Maruti Dzire, Hyundai Aura and Tata Tigor. However, unlike its rivals, it does not offer a factory-fitted CNG system. A majority of the compact sedan segment sales come from CNG cars, which comprise over 50 percent of Dzire sales and over 80 percent in the Aura’s case.
