Honda is offering attractive benefits on the City and Amaze sedans this month, but, for the first time, is also offering discounts on the Elevate SUV. The benefits include cash discounts or accessories, exchange bonuses, corporate bonuses and even a loyalty bonus. Here’s a closer look at the offers available on each model.
Honda Elevate
Save up to Rs 50,000
Honda is offering a cash discount of up to Rs 50,000 on the Elevate this March, although the actual amount can vary depending on the variant. However, there are no exchange bonuses or corporate offers on the Elevate. The SUV has been a strong performer for Honda averaging sales of 4,000 units a month, but it's still a fair way off segment leaders like the Hyundai Creta and Maruti Grand Vitara. It’s a well packaged SUV with a comfortable and spacious cabin, and great ride and handling balance. The Elevate is available with a 121hp, 1.5-litre petrol engine, and prices range between Rs 11.58 lakh-16.20 lakh (ex-showroom).
Honda Amaze
Save up to Rs 90,000
The Amaze gets a cash discount of up to Rs 35,000 or free accessories worth up to Rs 41,653, depending on the variant. Other benefits include a corporate bonus of up to Rs 20,000, an exchange bonus of up to Rs 10,000 and a loyalty bonus of up to Rs 4,000. Additionally, there is a special edition benefit of up to Rs 30,000 only on the Elite trim of the Amaze. The compact sedan is powered by a 90hp, 1.2-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine, and it's known for its airy cabin, comfortable interiors and good ride quality. However, it suffers from poor insulation and also misses out on a CNG option. It is priced between Rs 7.16 lakh-9.92 lakh (ex-showroom).
Honda City
Save up to Rs 1.20 lakh
Benefits on the City include a cash discount of up to Rs 30,000 or also opt for free accessories worth up to Rs 32,196. Other benefits include an exchange bonus of up to Rs 15,000, corporate bonus of up to Rs 20,000 and a loyalty bonus of Rs 4,000. Additionally, a special edition benefit of up to Rs 36,500 on the Elegant trim and an extended warranty (fourth and fifth years) worth Rs 13,651 on the VS and ZX trims are also on offer. There are no offers on the hybrid variants this month. The City shares its 1.5-litre petrol engine with the Elevate, and is known for its comfortable ride quality, practicality and reliability. Prices for the City range between Rs 11.71 lakh-16.19 lakh (ex-showroom).

Honda compromises on loading the Elevate with the features vs competition and now wasting money on discounts. Creta is sitting with a mountain of bookings - killer product package. Give the features and charge the price. People want more and are willing to pay more. In India Honda is always one step behind !!
