    Hyundai Alcazar facelift styling details

The latest spy shots reveal the Alcazar’s LED daytime running lamps (DRLs), which are different from the ones seen on the Creta. The DRLs feature a new ‘H’ element, but it remains to be seen if the Alcazar facelift will also get a light bar in the middle connecting both DRLs.

Furthermore, the grille is slightly larger than the Creta and gets horizontal slats. The vertically stacked main headlamp unit seems similar. The alloy wheel design is also new.

    Hyundai Alcazar facelift features, powertrain

The Alcazar facelift will likely make use of the same dashboard layout as the Creta facelift, including the dual 10.25-inch infotainment screens and the similarly sized digital instrument cluster. A big addition on the safety front will be the inclusion of ADAS. Like before, the Alcazar will be available in 6- and 7-seater configurations.

The 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine options will likely be carried over unchanged. The petrol powertrain churns out 160hp and 253Nm of torque and can be had with either a 6-speed MT or an optional 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, and the diesel motor makes 116hp and 250Nm that's paired with either a 6MT or a 6AT gearbox.

Hyundai Alcazar facelift launch timeline, price

The Alcazar facelift is expected to arrive in India by October this year, and will likely see a slight increase in prices. The Alcazar is currently priced from Rs 16.78 lakh to Rs 21.28 lakh (ex-showroom), and rivals the Mahindra XUV700, Scorpio N, Tata Safari and MG Hector Plus.
