Hyundai has launched the Alcazar facelift in India with a major update to its styling along with a host of new features. Here’s everything you need to know about it:
How much does the Hyundai Alcazar facelift cost?
The Alcazar facelift is priced from Rs 14.99 lakh onwards for the petrol version and Rs 15.99 lakh onwards for the diesel, both with the 7-seater configuration. To check out the variant-wise prices for the new Alcazar, click here.
What are the design changes on the Alcazar facelift?
Over the outgoing model, the Alcazar facelift gets H-shaped LED DRLs that are connected together with a light bar, and a larger grille with horizontal slats. The new full-width tail lamps look similar to what we've seen on the Venue, with a large H motif. The silver highlights on the bumpers give it a sporty look, while it also gets a new design for the 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.
What new features does the Hyundai Alcazar facelift get?
The Alcazar facelift uses the same dashboard layout as the Creta facelift, including the dual 10.25-inch infotainment screens and the similarly sized digital instrument cluster. It does get a new dual-tone tan and black theme. A big addition on the safety front will be the inclusion of ADAS, while it also now gets cooled rear seats. The Alcazar will continue to be available in 6- and 7-seater configurations. Features such as ventilated front seats, voice-controlled panoramic sunroof will be retained, while the SUV now also gets dual-zone climate control.

Does the Hyundai Alcazar facelift get new engine options?
The 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine options from the pre-facelift model have been retained. The petrol engine churns out 160hp and 253Nm of torque and can be had with either a 6-speed MT or an optional 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The diesel unit makes 116hp and 250Nm and is paired with a 6MT or a 6AT gearbox. Both get a front-wheel drive configuration.
How fuel efficient is the Alcazar facelift?
The 1.5-litre turbo-petrol motor offers an ARAI-certified fuel efficiency of 17.5kpl with the 6-speed MT and 18kpl with the 7-speed DCT. The diesel engine returns a 20.1kpl fuel efficiency figure when paired with the 6-speed manual gearbox, and 18.1kpl with the 6-speed auto.
