Mahindra Scorpio N gets up to Rs 1 lakh cash discount

    It’s been nearly two years since Mahindra launched the Scorpio N in India, and although demand for the SUV is not waning, Mahindra is now offering attractive discounts on the MY2023 units of the Scorpio N. This month, buyers can save up to Rs 1 lakh in cash discounts on the Scorpio N, depending on the trim. Let’s take a closer look.

    Mahindra Scorpio N discounts explained

    The top-spec Z8 and Z8L diesel 4x4 variants of the Scorpio N are available with a flat cash discount of Rs 1 lakh for both the manual and automatic, albeit only on the 7-seater variants. Meanwhile, the Z8 and Z8L diesel 4x2 AT variants (in both 6- and 7-seater guise) can be had with a cash discount of Rs 60,000. Lastly, the Z8 and Z8L petrol-AT variants can also be had with a Rs 60,000 cash discount for the 6- and 7-seater variants. However, there are no exchange bonuses or corporate offers on any variant.

    Mahindra Scorpio N powertrain details

    The Scorpio N gets two engine options – a 203hp, 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and a 175hp, 2.2-litre diesel engine, and both can be had with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. While the Scorpio N comes with rear-wheel drive as standard, the diesel gets a four-wheel drive option.

    Prices for the Scorpio N currently range between Rs 13.60 lakh-24.54 lakh (ex-showroom, India). It currently does not have a direct rival in our market, but due to its price and positioning, it competes with the likes of the Tata SafariMahindra XUV700MG Hector Plus and Hyundai Alcazar.
