2021 Jaguar F-Pace facelift: exterior design

In terms of styling, the F-Pace facelift is now adorned with a more prominent grille, restyled bumpers, sleeker LED headlights and tail-lights, as well as a new hood that now extends all the way to the grille. The rest of the F-Pace’s design is very much unchanged from the outgoing model, meaning it has retained its sporty and well-proportioned looks.

With the facelift, Jaguar is offering the F-Pace in the R-Dynamic S trim, which adds a ‘Shadow Atlas’ finish to the diamond mesh grille, blacked out inserts on the bumper, and black alloy wheels.

On the inside, the F-Pace facelift has been thoroughly redesigned. The dashboard layout has been changed, with horizontal slats spanning the whole width of the cabin and connecting the side and central AC vents. There is also a new steering wheel (same as the one in the I-Pace), revised air con controls and a stubby gear lever in place of the older model’s rotary gear knob.

The F-Pace come packed with features like the new 11.4-inch Pivi Pro curved glass touchscreen infotainment system with connected car tech, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, cruise control, a panoramic sunroof, adaptive LED headlights, powered front seats with memory function for the driver, powered reclining rear seats, 360-degree camera, ambient lighting, and four-zone climate control, to name a few.

2021 Jaguar F-Pace facelift: engine and gearbox

Under the hood, the F-Pace is once again available with the choice of petrol and diesel engines. Both, the petrol and diesel engines are 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbocharges units, with the petrol producing 252hp and 365Nm, and the diesel developing 204hp and 430Nm. Jaguar offers an 8-speed automatic gearbox and all-wheel-drive setup as standard across the range.

For some context, the carmaker had discontinued the F-Pace’s 180hp, 2.0-litre diesel engine when transitioning to the BS6 era and made the F-Pace a petrol-only model.

It is also worth mentioning that, abroad, the Jaguar F-Pace is available with a mild-hybrid system, and the company could bring this powertrain to our market at a later date.
