Wow, this is pure Genius from Nissan. First off, this is not the new version of X-Trail available internationally it is the pre-facelift 2021 version. Nissan found some unsold inventory lying around their global network and decided to offload in India. This is the same colonial mentality as the British dumping second rate clothing material into India 100 years ago. Nissa, the company has predominantly sold sub 10 lakh cars and SUVs, like the Micra, Sunny, Magine, Kicks etc. now wants to sell a 3 cylinder 1.5 litre engine powered SUV (Note - same engine as Nissan Kicks Turbo which sold for 10-12 lakhs) for 43 lakhs ex-showroom! This is beyond ridiculous.
