    Skoda has revealed the complete price list for its smallest compact SUV, the Kylaq, whose entry-level Classic variant costs Rs 7.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The top-spec Prestige automatic variant is priced at Rs 14.40 lakh. Bookings for the Kylaq commence from 4pm today.

    The Kylaq is available in four trims – Classic, Signature, Signature+ and Prestige. There are seven colors on offer: Tornado Red, Brilliant Silver, Candy White, Carbon Steel, Lava Blue, Deep Black and Olive Gold. The company is also providing 3 year/1,00,000km standard warranty, whichever is earlier.

    Skoda Kylaq powertrain, specs 

    The Kylaq comes with the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that is already seen in the other Skoda-VW models. It churns out 115hp and 178Nm of torque and comes with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. Skoda says the Kylaq can do a 0-100kph sprint in 10.5 seconds. Top-spec Prestige trim also gets paddle shifters for the automatic gearbox. A

    Skoda Kylaq trims and features 

    The Kylaq line-up starts at Rs 7.89 lakh for the entry-level Classic trim, which comes with six airbags, tilt and telescopic steering wheel, electrically adjustable wing mirrors and all LED lights, among other features. There is no choice of an automatic gearbox with this variant.

    The Kylaq Signature starts at Rs 9.59 lakh for the manual gearbox, and the Signature automatic costs Rs 10.59 lakh. It comes with features such as 16-inch alloy wheels, cruise control, tyre pressure monitoring, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment, steering-mounted controls and rear AC vents. 

    The Kylaq Signature Plus starts at Rs 11.40 lakh for the manual, and the Signature automatic is priced at Rs 12.40 lakh. It has a 10.1-inch infotainment screen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an 8-inch virtual cockpit infotainment screen, climate control, a rearview camera and power-folding mirrors, among others.

    The top-spec Kylaq Prestige is priced at Rs 13.35 lakh for the manual version and Rs 14.40 lakh for the automatic one with paddle shifters. It comes with a single-pane sunroof, 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, automatic headlamps and wipers, LED foglamps with cornering function, LED projector headlamps and ambient lighting, besides other goodies.

    Skoda Kylaq delivery schedule

    Skoda India has said deliveries for the Kylaq will start from January 27, 2025. The company has also announced that the first 33,333 customers will get a special maintenance package, which will bring the running cost down to Rs 0.24/km. The key rivals to the Kylaq include Mahindra XUV 3XOHyundai VenueKia Sonet and Tata Nexon.
