Tata Motors recently debuted the Curvv coupe-SUV in production-spec, but key details like the interior design and specifications remain under wraps. Our dealer sources revealed some equipment highlights, and now, we have new information about the battery specifications of the Curvv EV.

Tata Curvv EV battery details
Like other Tata Motors EVs, the Curvv, too, will have two battery options: higher variants will get a 55kWh pack, while lower variants are expected to use the 40.5kWh pack from the Nexon LR.

Though the 55kWh battery's range details are unavailable, it is expected to exceed 550km as the 40.5kWh battery has an ARAI-claimed range of 465km. Comparatively, upcoming rivals of the Curvv EV such as the Creta EV and the Maruti eVX are expected to feature 45kWh and 60kWh batteries, respectively.
Both variants of the Curvv EV will be powered by a front-axle-mounted electric motor. Exact specifications are expected closer to its launch. The petrol and diesel variant's prices will also be revealed on the same day.

Tata Curvv EV features
The Curvv will come very generously equipped with features like a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a fully digital driver’s display, a segment-first powered tail gate with gesture function, a panoramic sunroof, reclining rear seat, ventilated front seats, and more. The top-spec variants will also get ADAS Level 2.
Upon launch, the Curvv will compete with the upcoming Citroen Basalt coupe-SUV in the midsize SUV space, essentially conceiving an all-new sub-segment.
