Launch of the Volkswagen Golf GTI for India has been under evaluation for a few years now. The Golf GTI gets the familiar EA888 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine that delivers a healthy 245hp. The Golf GTI’s top speed is limited to 250kph and it does 0-100kph in 5.9 seconds. The sporty hatchback from Volkswagen will be imported to India in limited numbers and bookings are currently unofficially open.
