Royal Enfield Classic 650 Twin

Quick review

Classic 650 Twin shares some fundamentals with the Shotgun but the front fork and wheels are different.

It is very well-finished and there is a generous helping of chrome all over.

At 243kg, the Classic 650 Twin is the heaviest modern-day RE yet (at least until the Himalayan 650 arrives).

Despite its weight, the Classic handles well and the only hindrance are the footpegs, which can scrape rather easily.

The only downside to this pretty motorcycle is that it has a rather firm ride, even over the well-paved UK roads we rode it on.

Four colours are on offer - Vallam Red, Bruntingthorpe Blue, Teal and Black Chrome.

Prices aren’t out yet but we’ve been told that its starting price will be in the Shotgun’s ballpark but the top colour will be in Super Meteor territory.
