Ather will be increasing the price of the 450S, 450X and 450 Apex models effective January 1, 2025, as confirmed by our dealer sources. This price increase will be in line with the hike on the Rizta.

    1. 450S is offered only with a 2.9kWh battery
    2. 450X is offered in two variants
    3. Flagship 450 Apex likely to cross Rs 2 lakh mark in 2025

    Ather 450X price hike details

The Ather 450 model line starts with the 450X, which is offered in two variants – a 2.9kWh version and a 3.7kWh battery pack version that cost Rs 1.41 lakh and Rs 1.55 lakh, respectively. The 450S is a simpler version of the X. It replaces the touchscreen TFT with an LCD and omits Warp mode. Consequently, it also costs less at Rs 1.18 lakh.

On the other end of the spectrum is the 450 Apex, which is the most powerful iteration of the 450 platform. It debuted features such as Magic Twist and is priced at Rs 1.95 lakh. The prices for all three models would increase by Rs 4,000-6,000, although the exact increase per variant isn’t specified. The Ather 450s have always been one of the more expensive offerings in the EV scooter market and this price hike will only reinforce this further.

The 450X was Ather’s first product before the Rizta came in, and though not the most practical offering, its unfailing reliability, sporty performance and extensive features list helped cement its position in our market.

All prices ex-showroom, Bengaluru inclusive of PM E-Drive subsidy
