Benelli has revealed a new middleweight adventure tourer, the TRK 552X, in China. This bike is the larger version of the TRK 502X, which is on sale in India, and we expect it to come to our shores in the coming months.

    1. Has a larger 552cc motor that produces 61hp, 55Nm
    2. Gets revised styling, new TFT display
    3. Tubeless wire-spoke wheels standard

Benelli TRK 552X engine, features, India launch details

Powering the Benelli TRK 552X is a liquid-cooled, 550cc, parallel-twin engine that has an output of 61hp and 55Nm of torque. That’s a 50cc bump in capacity as compared to the TRK 502X. This larger engine is nestled inside a steel tube frame suspended by a USD fork and monoshock, both supplied by Marzocchi.

In terms of design, too, the 552X is more of an evolution than a revolution and takes forward the distinctive TRK design language. The 552X has LED lighting all around, a new 5-inch TFT dash and backlit switchgear.

The electronic rider aids are restricted to just dual-channel ABS. Benelli has replaced the axial Brembo calipers on the 502X with radially mounted J.Juan calipers on the 552X.

The Benelli TRK 552X will initially go on sale in its home country of China. When it comes to India, it would likely be more expensive than the TRK 502X, which carries a Rs 6.50 lakh price tag (ex-showroom, India).
