Hero MotoCorp recently revealed the all-new Xpulse 210 at EICMA 2024, and it uses a slightly detuned version of the motor found in the outgoing Karizma XMR 210. Here are the key differences between the Xpulse 210 and the Xpulse 200 4V.

    Xpulse 210 Vs Xpulse 200 4V: Engine

The outgoing Xpulse 200 4V is powered by a 199cc oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine that comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox and produces 19.1hp at 8,500rpm and 17.35Nm at 6,500rpm. The upcoming Xpulse 210, on the other hand, is powered by a 210cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that’s paired with a 6-speed gearbox and makes 24.6hp at 9,250rpm and 20.7Nm at 7,250rpm.

    Xpulse 210 Vs Xpulse 200 4V: Weight

The upcoming Xpulse 210 tips the scales at 170kg, which is an 11kg increase in weight than the outgoing Xpulse 200 4V. While Hero hasn’t revealed any details just yet, the increase in weight could be due to the new powertrain and revisions to the overall design.

    Xpulse 210 Vs Xpulse 200 4V: Suspension

In terms of suspension, the Xpulse 200 4V boasts 190mm of travel at the front and 170mm of travel at the rear. However, the Xpulse 210 is equipped with a longer travel suspension with 210mm at the front and 205mm at the rear. For reference, the outgoing Xpulse 200 4V Pro variant has a suspension travel of 250mm at the front and 220mm at the rear. It is worth noting that all three aforementioned motorcycles use a telescopic fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear.

    Xpulse 210 Vs Xpulse 200 4V: Features

The Xpulse 200 4V uses a monotone LCD that packs in features such as Bluetooth connectivity, ABS modes and navigation. The Xpulse 210 has a brand-new 4.2-inch TFT, which will likely also have all the earlier-mentioned features and could also offer riding modes.

    Xpulse 210 Vs Xpulse 200 4V: Price

Currently, Hero sells the Xpulse 200 4V for Rs 1.47 lakh and the Xpulse 200 4V Pro for Rs 1.54 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. We suspect the new Xpulse 210 will command a higher premium and cost about Rs 20,000-Rs 30,000 more than the standard Xpulse 200 4V.
