Mahindra XUV700 waiting period increases to 2 months

    The popularity of the Mahindra XUV700 is on the rise, and despite Mahindra having increased production of the SUV, which comes in 5-seater, 6-seater, and 7-seater forms, dealerships are quoting longer wait times for select variants. Read on to find out how long you’ll have to wait for the delivery of your new XUV700.

    As shown in the table, the waiting period for the top-spec XUV700 AX7 and AX7 L variants has risen to a little over 2 months, up from about 1.5 months recently. Meanwhile, buyers will have to wait approximately 1 month for the delivery of all other variants, including the entry-level MX and the mid-spec AX3, AX5, and AX5 Select variants. These wait times apply to both petrol and diesel versions of the SUV.

    It should be noted that XUV700 variants equipped with ESP and those in the 6-seater configuration do not have a specified waiting period. For exact details on these specific trims and information regarding the delivery times for manual and automatic gearbox options, do contact your local dealership.
     
    Both the 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and the 2.2-litre diesel engine have 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox options. However, only the diesel variant comes with an AWD option.
     
    The Mahindra XUV700 is currently priced between Rs 13.99 lakh and Rs 25.14 lakh (ex-showroom, India). It directly rivals the Tata HarrierSafariMG Hector, Hector Plus, and the Hyundai Alcazar.
