    Tata Harrier EV Latest Update

The Tata Harrier EV, first showcased in concept guise at the Auto Expo 2023, will see its market launch by March 2025. The Harrier EV will use the brand’s new acti.ev architecture which is a heavily modified version of an existing ICE platform to support an electric powertrain. There’s no word yet on the Harrier EV’s battery capacity or range, but we expect it to sport a 60kWh battery pack that delivers about 500km of range on a single charge. The SUV will sport an electric motor on each axle, giving it an all-wheel-drive setup. Tata has even mentioned it’ll have vehicle-to-load (V2L) and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) charging capacities. Expect interior trims and exterior body panels to have some commonality with the diesel-powered Harrier, albeit with EV-specific changes, and it will likely be better equipped too. Upon launch, it will rival the likes of the Mahindra XEV 9e, Maruti e Vitara and Hyundai Creta EV.
