The new Volkswagen Tiguan R-line launch in India on April 14, 2025. The new Tiguan R-line price is expected to be around Rs 45 lakh. The SUV is based on the latest-gen Tiguan sold abroad and will be the first of the all-new Tiguan to launch in India. The R Line is the top variant in the line-up with sporty exterior elements and more features. It gets unique front and rear bumpers, blacked-out exterior trims and special interior accents as part of the R-line package. Feature highlights include a 10.3-inch digital instrument display and a 12.9-inch central infotainment screen. The Tiguan R-line measures 4,539mm long, 1,639mm tall and is 1,842mm wide. It has a 2,680mm wheelbase which is same as the previous-gen Tiguan that’s still sold in India. The Tiguan R-line in India will come with a 204hp, 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine. There is also a diesel engine available internationally, but that’s not expected to come to India. The Tiguan R-line will rival the Skoda Kodiaq, the Hyundai Tucson and the Jeep Meridian in India.
