Suzuki has revealed the e-Access electric scooter at the ongoing Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, which is the electric version of the popular Access 125 petrol scooter.

    1. e-Access uses a 3.07kWh LFP battery
    2. 71kph claimed top speed, 12-inch wheels at both ends
    3. Three riding modes – Eco, Ride A and Ride B

Powering the Suzuki e-Access is a fixed 3.07kWh LFP battery and the company claims a 95km IDC range. This battery pack powers a swingarm-mounted motor making 4.1kW and 15Nm propelling the e-Access to a 71kph claimed top speed.

Suzuki claims the 240W charger supplied with the e-Access can top up the battery from 0-80 percent in 4hr30min, while a full charge from flat will take 6hr42min. These numbers drop to 1hr12min and 2hr12min, respectively, when you charge the scooter via the fast charger, although the wattage of that unit is unspecified.

The e-Access’ headlight and tail-lamp are LED units and its styling is also drastically different from the petrol Access 125.

With a 765mm seat height, the e-Access has a slightly lower perch than its petrol counterpart. Despite that, it has slightly more ground clearance than its petrol sibling, at 165mm. However, at 122kg, the e-Access is 18-19kg heavier than the petrol scooter.

The e-Access is not based on the same platform as the e-Burgman that was revealed some years ago. Suzuki also tells us the e-Access will be made in India and then exported to other international markets.

Cycle parts on the e-Access are very similar to the petrol scooter, with a telescopic fork and monoshock handling suspension duties and a disc/drum brake setup (F/R) handling stopping duties. Where the e-Access goes down its own path is that it rolls on 12-inch wheels at both ends, shod with tyres sized 90/90-12 / 100/80-12 (F/R).
