The Honda Elevate seems to be made with Indian buyers in mind, with its boxy looks and 220mm of ground clearance, both unusual for the brand. The 1.5 i-VTEC naturally aspirated petrol engine feels strong enough and both the MT and CVT gearboxes are good, but a turbo-petrol, diesel or hybrid option would have been better. The ride and handling mix are superb for city or highway driving, and the interior is spacious and well built. It, however, lacks the wow factor of rivals and is missing some key features offered in the segment, like a panoramic sunroof.
