The second-generation Audi Q3 luxury SUV was launched in August 2022 after a long delay. Globally launched in 2018, the new Q3 sits between the entry-level Q2 and bigger Q5. The Q3 bears a strong resemblance to the flagship Q8 and is available in two trim levels – Premium Plus and Technology. It is powered by a 190hp, 320Nm, 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo petrol engine that is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and fitted with ‘Quattro’ all-wheel drive as standard.

Owning the Audi Q3 has been an enjoyable and rewarding experience. It's the perfect mix of luxury and practicality in a compact SUV, ideal for my daily drives and weekend trips. The exterior design is understated yet elegant—sleek lines, a bold grille, and a commanding presence on the road. Inside, it feels refined with premium materials, comfortable seating, and a user-friendly infotainment system that integrates seamlessly with my phone. Performance is where the Q3 truly shines. The 2.0L turbocharged engine offers more than enough power for both city commutes and highway cruising. It’s quick when I need it to be and smooth during more relaxed drives. The Quattro all-wheel drive provides excellent grip, especially on rainy or slippery roads. Handling is sharp, and it feels planted, making cornering enjoyable. Inside, the cabin is comfortable for both front and rear passengers, though the back seats are a little snug for taller adults. The boot is spacious enough for my day-to-day needs but can feel a bit tight for longer vacations. Still, I can usually fit everything I need without much trouble. Fuel efficiency averages around 11-13 km/l, which is decent for a luxury SUV. Audi’s service and maintenance are also pretty hassle-free, and I’ve been impressed with the overall ownership experience. In summary, the Audi Q3 is a compact luxury SUV that offers a great blend of style, performance, and practicality. While it’s not the most spacious in its class, it delivers a driving experience that makes it stand out in the crowded luxury SUV market.

The second-gen Audi Q3 defintely builds on its predecessor's strengths. From the strong 190hp, 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine to its mature driving manners, the Q3 is entertaining to drive, especially in top-spec Quattro AWD form. Much like the previous model, the Q3's forte is how well it fits into everyday urban life. It’s easy to park and steer, and generally feels right-sized in our congested cities. Ride quality on bad roads is also excellent, as is high speed stability. While the range-topping Technolgoy variant that comes with Quattro AWD does feel a little expensive, the lower-sped Premium and Premium Plus models are well-priced compared to rivals.
