Yamaha had recently unveiled the updated R15M with carbon-fibre graphics and updated electronics. Today, Yamaha has launched the R15M and the MT-15 in a Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition. The former is priced at Rs 1,98,800 while the MT-15 is priced at Rs 1,73,400 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

    1. Both bikes remain mechanically unchanged
    2. Gets MotoGP-inspired paint scheme

Both the MT-15 and R15M now feature MotoGP-inspired livery on the tank shrouds, fuel tank, side panels, and a Monster Energy logo on the front mudguard. While the R15M is Rs 2,000 more expensive than its metallic silver variant, the MT-15 is priced just Rs 700 more than its deluxe variant. There are, however, no changes on the equipment front.

Mechanically, both bikes remain unchanged, powered by the same 155cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine delivering 18.4hp and 14.2Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. Although the bikes share the same engine and gearbox, the R15 M comes equipped with a quickshifter. The suspension setup consists of a USD fork and monoshock. Braking duties are handled by disc brakes on both ends with dual-channel ABS.
